Unsure if this is the same thing but there was a whole show dedicated to an ancient computer machine over on the science channel not too long ago. I find that ancient people get sort of dismissed as being ancient and stupid when, in fact, they had some really nifty things going on.

Yeah, I'm in complete agreement. Ancient civilizations were of a different paradigm, to be sure, but to dismiss them as uncivilized or "ooga booga" cavemen types is selling them far too short. They just had different priorities. They were big time into astronomy and astrology both. It's amazing some of the stuff they new about our galaxy/solar system way back then.
