Considering that when Obama was a nobody he gave the keynote address at the last convention it's seems ridiculously silly to read into the runner up and an ex-president also getting prominent speaking spots. Hillary and Bill should be banned or something?

Diraker is right. At this point the internet spin machines are comming up with every last rabbit they have up their sleeves to eat up that %7 lead in the polls Obama has before the convention.

The reasoning is that Obama is a much better, much more compelling speaker and will outshine McCain once that live speech hits the TV.

Just wait...the "swiftboat veterans" will be back this year with some new ploy.

Thats what great about marketing politicians...it isn't about what your candidate does well, just what the opposition can be dragged thru the mud for.

I'm officially writing in Zach DeLaRocha on my ballot because all of these candidates suck major ass.

The guy who authored the swiftboat John Kerry book, Unfit for Command, his new book about Obama...I forget the title came in at #1 this week or last week or something. So it has already been going on. I think though Obama is better at handling smears that Kerry was. I guess we'll see.
