Very interesting but the term junk DNA is sorta getting outdated. I'm glad they put it in "quotes" the first time around.

Despite having sequenced the human genome, we have hardly breached the surface of understanding it fully. A large majority of our DNA is non-coding and its function(or lack of) isn't totally understood. Over the next decade or two we should see some amazing discoveries in that area.
On a side note...I recently saw an exhibit of Lucy, which was kickass. I believe it was the first time it was ever seen outside of Ethiopia and even there it has only been shown twice to the public. It spent the past year here in Houston and is scheduled for another five years on tour in the US.
