Anyone playing Rock Band 2?

I just picked it up today and so far I've just been doing vocals. Lots of good new songs and you can tour solo but otherwise, so far, it's exactly like RB1.

My xbox tag is Diraker and my band is Satan's Little Helpers.

And "Eye of the Tiger" is there! I can't 5 gold star it yet though...there's a few sort of odd parts and short lines that I just need to work on.

The new 'drum trainer' IMO is awesome! Supposedly you can play mp3's through RB2 and play along with the drums. But that you can export all your RB1 stuff to be included in RB2 is uber!

There's also 'performance mode' where the tracks are hidden, and 'no fail mode'. Any character can play any instrument too, so setting up your band to play is much easier.

I'm disappointed at the lack of difficult songs in RB2. -_-

Has anyone gotten the new drum control? My old one is in bad shape but it's still holding up...is the new kit more responsive and sturdier? What about the foot pedal? Does a slim piece of narrow plastic still hold it together?

Kolt, the new Guitar Hero game will be for a band right? Will it be using the same controllers? Will it be harder, like a more intricate version of RB?

I expect GH:WT to be harder on all accounts, especially the guitar, thankfully.

Not sure if all the instruments will be compatible.
