I almost forget the taste of salt water these days. One of my sexy mates send me a pm and update me on the DF situation. I wasn't going to get the game till NA servers were pumped out, but now I'm on the fence.

Ironic indeed. Think with some reason and reality, and based on pre - AOC ventures, hell even AOC, the opposite is quite realistic. I still love you though.

Alliances? If anyone I affiliate with is embedded in an alliance, then I'll make sure I'll pull the other way, regardless of how many xxxx's are in their name. Hand holdin fagotry.

Hi Mutt. Give me some hardcore input for the weak like myself. I'd hate to waste my time due to how hardcore the game mechanics are. <3

Alliances? Hmm...I might have to retort considering the guilds on your defensive efforts. Are the game mechanics that mandatory to not be independent? :(

You can't avoid alliances. The whole population isnt going to say "Gosh I'd sure just love us all to fight independently", alliances are a part of everything..WWI, WWII..things are rarely 1vs1 anywhere..sure there are some groups that work out of clanstones and do merc type stuff, etc

TSP was independent in the past, however things change and evolve. I trust your leadership's judgement, and if it takes alliances in DF to be competitive, so be it. I just miss the SB days I suppose.

groups similar to what we did in the past do exist, and we might end up going that way someday ourselves, just living at the clanstones and being free and all that. But for now we're getting involved in the hamlet/city type stuff because the server is new and crafters need that to get going. Once our skills are higher and all that, and we're more seasoned, we can always revert back to causing trouble. It's really a great time right now. It's just a group of 30 TSP are not going to be able to hold off a group of 78 guys from various guilds

We all were 14 years old when we heard about this game, you may as well play! I mean, I think Shokar was a SR in HS at the time..he's going to get involved hopefully soon too
