Essay writing contest!

Just kidding... but no really i have to write and essay about the effects of new technology on a person, a family or a society in general. I have some basic stuff, but just curious if you guys can think of any interesting examples or what your thoughts are ^_^

Ive been outta school for a few years since going back and english isnt exactly my forte.

Try something communication related....how cell phones, instant messengers and e-mail have shortened the communication gap between friends and family. When was the last time you wrote a letter instead of an e-mail? Used a pay phone? Something along those lines.
