LOL, the insurgents are getting desperate if they have to stoop to this.

Damn, the link doesn't work. Anyway, it showed a "US prisoner" posed in front of a Jihadist flag. The picture appeared on the same web site that Zarqawi uses to announce beheadings and such with a message "we have captured American John Adams." The prisoner was dressed in combat fatigues and had combat gear on with a US M4 rifle pointed at his head.

An American toy manufacturer recognized the prisoner as actually being one of their toys in their line. Sure enough, on closer inspection with the picture of the actual toy in its box next to it, the picture of the prisoner is obviously the same toy.

hahah, too funny.

This combination shows an image, left, posted on an Iraqi militant Web site on Tuesday Feb. 1, 2005 and an image provided by toy manufacturer Dragon Models USA of an action figure named ' Cody' in a box. The Web site posted the photograph of what it claimed was a kidnapped U.S. soldier, but doubts were quickly raised about its authenticity and the U.S. military said no soldiers were missing. Dragon Models USA, said the figure in the photo resembled one of its military action figures originally produced for sale at U.S. bases in Kuwait. (AP Photo/Dragon Models USA, HO)

Thanks for the C&P Squeak!

Yeah, look at the rifle pointing at the "prisoner's" head. Its an M4, which the insurgents don't have, and its the same type as the one you can see in the toy box.

Also, the vest carrying ammo & grenades is the same one from the box. And why the heck would you leave a vest full of ammo & grenades on a prisoner? It seems to me you take too big a risk of him getting free and using one of those grenades.

Nobody said there were IQ requirements to join an insurgency...
