Seriously? Was 2009 that bad of a year for peacemakers? I think this is more of a denouncement of Bush than it is an endorsement for Obama. I mean, what exactly has Obama done for world peace so far? For that matter, what major accomplishments has he done for the US besides endorse protectionist policies and buy a bunch of old clunkers?

Im not saying Obama is a bad guy, just dont understand the premature accolades.

It strikes me as a political move on the part of the Nobel award committee.

Although Hitler did get the Olympics.

Germany got the olympics before the Nazis came to power. He was Time Man of the Year though.

The most interesting thing is that Obama was nominated in February.
