But i'm not a smoker so that's one thing that turns me off from it. Vaporizers help with the harmful effects but like I said, the high is mediocre.

Im gonna have to side with Cin... ya a canadian who doesnt get high go figure. But i do think that the so called war on drugs is idiotic at best. If people wanna smoke a joint why is it such a big deal? MORONS!

It's not a big deal because people want to smoke a joint. Heck, it's really not even a big deal if someone wants to snort a line. The problem is that 90% of users do it irresponsibly.

There is a way to do any drug in moderation and with as many safety precautions as possible. Of course, very few people choose to even read into it.

I agree Cinn, but its much like not being able to legally drink alcohol til your 21.....most kids go crazy since they aren't supposed to do it. Very seldom do teenagers sit back and have a beer with dinner.

Eh drinking a beer isn't a good comparison to taking a hit of acid or something. Put it into context -- getting plastered. Getting drunk can be done responsibly but of course you have the immature, irresponsible people (both young and old) that choose to go for a drive or the likes.

It's a really complicated situation....you have to wonder whether or not if everything became legally available, if it would be more or less sought out.

True, doing acid and chugging Bacardi definitely have different outcomes. BUT my point was that when you aren't supposed to do something it all of a sudden becomes more inticing.

Do people find cocaine so cool because it's illegal or because they like it? If it was legalized would more or less people use it? I think that even though the whole "doing something bad" factor would be out, the use would go up. I have a feeling there are a lot more people who don't do drugs because they are illegal versus the number that do because they are illegal.

Then again there are also those people who abuse over the counter mediceines just as easily as illegal drugs. Case in point:

Recently there was a break in at a pharmacy where someone stole a bunch of Aderal and Valuim. I had heard nothing about this until someone in my english class told me.
