The original is playing all day on the Syfy channel.

New premiere is tonight at 8pm.

I still rank V as the #1 tv miniseries I've ever seen. Can't wait to see the new stuff.

Question: Is it a remake or more of a continuation where the old one left off?

Just watched that clip. The acting is questionable but I'm hoping for the best. DVR is set and I'll probably watch it when I wake up tomorrow morning =)

Loved the old series. Right up there with "Tour of Duty"

I like remakes. Hopefully they do it justice.

I remember there was a comic book for V as well. Loved'em

It didn't suck. They went from 0 to 60 in the first episode though, which leaves me wondering if we're going to be able to predict everything that happens. It was decent though and I'll be watching it in hopes they mix shit up.

Love that both actors from Firefly are bad guys.

Spawn more Michael Ironside imo.

I think it's an awesome start to be honest.

You're right whisper, but i think they are trying to shorten it up from the original series. If i remember right, the first series you didn't find out they were lizards till like the 2-3 episode.

Then Robert Englund ate the rat and it was downhill from there :)

OMG you're the only other person I've ever heard mention Tour of Duty! That show was awesome. I hated how they "ended" it where you don't know what happens to Sarge or L.T. :(

V is independence day, they just don't attack right away and want to.... well.... you'll have to watch it heh.

Yeah i told her he was freddy, she just shrugged. That was Pre-Freddy though, freddy hadnt been done yet i don't think.
