I am so pumped for this game... It seems like they are going to back to the roots of the original CS but upgrading the graphics. I hated source a lot....

What do you mean back to its roots? Source and original CS seemed quite similar to me. I enjoyed both. To be it looks like just a graphics upgrade.

Thats all CS needed was a good graphics upgrade. I dunno what it was about source but I just couldn't stand it. I feel like a lot of the Counter Strike community agreed.

Yea I didn't think there was any difference at all between the two, gameplay wise.

Idk what the whole CS 1.6 craze was. I didnt think they were that different at all. I think it was easier to get headshots early on in source that pissed people off a lot but they patched it.

huge difference between the 2 imo... i enjoyed 1.6 a lot more but source grew on me enough to play it.

As the series progressed I think they dumbed down the aiming and making the game more accessible, but also making "spray and pray" a viable strategy. Basically the same thing that happened with the CoD series. CoD 1 and 2 were awesome, but from there they dumbed it down to make it more accessible and now it's a "spray and pray" fest.

Sounds like RO2 is trying to go back to the original CoD type combat, I'm thinking about checking it out.
