AoE 3? Anyone playing?

I'm gonna be picking this up today. I played the demo a bit and have watched a couple vids of it. Looks pretty sick. Anyone else getting this?

i just picked it up at lunch. I played the demo a bit. Was ok but to restricted to that single level to actually test as much as i'd have liked. Would have like to have tried the other races.

I tried it out last night and then some today, and I like it. It's nothing new, but it's a good AoE game. So if you liked the old ones, this is just a new and improved form of that.

WH40K: Dawn of War is still one of the best RTS out there right now. The latest expansion with the Imperial Guard made it even more yummy. In skirmish mode I can kick the crap out of several computer opponents in the hardest mode but I've yet to play against a human. I'll probably finally play it online and get my ass handed to me by a 10 year old, lol.

Hey, I got Age of Empires 3 and I've been playing it quite a bit. I can beat the skirmish computer on hard without breaking a sweat but I seem to be about 50/50 playing online.

The campagin was really fun, the attack by the Necrons was really cool.

Yes, very neat surprise! It was pretty cool when the Eldar Seeress just mentioned the Necrons, but I was like "no way they will actually be in the game." Then there I was with a rapidly crumbling Imperial Guard perimeter, being pressed on all sides by hordes of Necron! Sweeet!

Now we know which race will debut in the next expansion! And hopefully the Tyranid will be included as well. Then the Tau & Squats after that.

Sorry for the spoiler Seph, but not like its a huge surprise anyway since the Eldar start blabbering about the "Necron threat" halfway through the campaign anyway.

Red Alert is my favorite of the C&C. Did they ever fix the move and fire bug where you can move and shoot at the same time?

It was like that in the whole series so i'm not sure that it's a bug.

Just don't have to swap, I just ran through it with IG, the race that finishes first is the one that you take to the necron map(atleast that was I figure). IG4tw

Yeah, you don't have to swap. I played it through with just IG. I still want to go back and play through with Eldar just to see how the Eldar will fight the Necron.

Oh, and I wonder if the inclusion of the Titan towards the end of the game foretells of some more cool things to come.

I'd love to go to war with the Space Wolves (my fav Space Marine chapter) supported by a couple Wolfhound Titans. Yar!

That's more Epic 40K though. Too bad that game faded away, it was my favorite.
