For those of you guys who missed out on the "birth" of MMORPG's, here's a chance to see what it was like. Meridian 59 is currently having a 30 day free trial, here's the link (http://www.meridian59.com/M59-Trial-Signup.php).

Warning, if you like eye candy this game will burn your retinas. Graphics have come along way since the likes of this game, but visuals is and never was what M59 was all about. It was about the gameplay and PvP.

Most of you are probably not going to be able to get over it graphically, but it's kind of cool to romp around in one of the games that started it all.

I was a butter bar stationed in Korea when I first played that game. God, I was such a noob. People were always killing me before I finally joined a guild. My guild leader's name was "Smooth Criminal". Heh. Two days after I joined the guild, SC took me deep into that castle with undead and trolls and then went afk for two hours. I couldn't get out because I was way too low to be in there by myself. I finally committed suicide and went back to camping rats in the forest and slimes and ants on the beach. Then this girl named "Payne" ran by and fireballed me to death.

Fun memories though. I really enjoyed that game even though I didn't get to play it much.
