I just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. My name in DDO is Azlano and I have played many a MMORPG with most of time in EQ and DAoC. I have a few friends scattered hear and there but over time most of them have stopped playing in one shape or form. I recently played SB with VA for a short time after being invited by a friend of mine into the guild.
I was by no means a real good player at SB just average. I heard about DDO and wanted to give it a try. After having a rough start we were able to group with Cinnabar, Whisper, Mutt, Reede, Mazu, Relapse, and a couple more I believe. Sorry if I missed your names. I wanted to thank you for a great time and getting me up there in levels.
I don't get to play very often so when I do I value the time I play and these people showed me a game that could be fun when played with the right people.
I hope I get to play some more tomorrow and Monday and group with TSP some more to get to know the guild and its members a little better.
And Cydus even though I didn't group with you, you sound like a guy who can party hard and have a great time with friends in and out of game even if they aren't 35 year old hotties. :thud:

Needs to brush up on his looking skills, IMO.

I doubt he could get it before Harry Potter.

Wow Read the whole artical...profound, and i totally Agree btw aswell i hate the pvp system in WoW, but then again at least it has one, I'd much rather play a game like Shadowbane was all in all.

Trial of Ascension looked really good for awhile but i lost touch with it haven't checked it out in about 4-5 months now.

My Wishlist for a game?

Ageing
City Building
Lootable corpse's
Skill Based (like Darkfall no leveling plz thx)
Important Trade Skills (that i will never use ;P but they should be there)
Weapons and Armor Made by Towns that Poeple Control, some mobs should drop "Epic" Quality loot but it should never be the same.

One time maybe a Boat full of Ghost Pirates pulls up to a harbor and proceeds to attack your city, if you defeat them their cappy should drop some special epic loot type item, then you should never see the same thing again.

And

Auction house that thing is amazing i love it in WoW.

Just a few of my ideas I'd love for a MMORPG to come out like that but noone else wants those things it seems.

EQ used to do that very thing. GM events. Problem with that was if no one was on the event went to waste.

Company policies for GM's restricts them from doing anything "non-issue" related. Hence the lack of humor in the grom'gol incident.

Well they shouldn't be doing it when noones on :P They do have the ability to check previous to starting the event.
