Savage 2

For those of you who played Savage, a FPS/RTS/RPG hybrid, S2Games just announced it's sequel, Savage2 (http://savage2.s2games.com/): A Tortured Soul, which is to take place in a fantasy world. They're going to be offering the game online, for 30 bucks, and all pre-orders get into the beta.

Brandon, did you ever play this, or was it just me, Cory and Steve?

I am not Brandon but I played Savage a little bit. I liked it. I actually thought the melee fighting was decent and it seemed excellent for clan vs clan type of games. But in pubs, getting stuck with a bad commander made a poor pubbing type game.

$30 is pretty cheap though...maybe when SB dies again and before DF comes out I'll be looking to play something. I saw a video trailer for Savage2 and the graphics seemed nice. Also I read that there will be choices to make when your character levels up, rather than just automatically being assigned new values for your armor and stuff.

I'm Paul and this game seems pretty cool, I'd give it a shot if a lot of others did
