This video makes me giddy everytime I see it. I mean really, who doesn't want to play an Orc and get catapulted into a castle wall?

I'm not going to lie, I'm sure I'll be getting this game when it comes out. Granted it does look a little WoW-ish, but it has some intresting aspects besides just PvP and PvE. Plus the elves of warhammer make the ones in many MMOs look like pansies. Mmmm, avatar summoning... I'm going to see if they're still accepting beta testers. I just want to be an evil little chaos caster, is that so much to ask for?
I just want some squigs, or night goblin fanatics

Hey all, long time no see...I was looking at WAR and thought of you guys and lo' and behold you beat me to the punch by months I'm sure. I've been out of the scene since I quit WoW but WAR looks promising. I'll be following it on the Warhammer Alliance boards as BloodangelZero...okie dokie time for study and a drink...take care...
Check in when you are able to Silvur

I really wish they would have done Warhammer 40k... as the sword/shield/caster thing is getting a bit tired. But I will definately check this one out as I still play DAoC... Mythic has gotten a few things right. My only fear at this point is that the sides will be a bit unbalanced population-wise.
But with six sides that unbalance should not matter as much. With WoW if 1 side had more it made a big difference. With DAoC it made a difference but only so much, because when one side got too big the other two ganged up on it.

Everything is getting tired really.
It really seems like the days of developers creating a world of their own for an MMOG are long dead... yes stuff like Darkfall and Vanguard are doing it, but they're going to be barely successful (if successful at all). Compared to: LOTR:O, Warhammer Online, Star Trek Online, etc.
Really seems like the days of innovative fun gameplay being all that you needed are gone, you need a big name franchise to draw the players.

Warhammer is doomed to fail. It wont live up to its hype. WoW will reign supreme.
