Hit the shelves here about a month ago. Only 2 NA servers...and both are absolute ghost towns.
Apparently flop is now spelled..A..r...c..h..l...

Was this the game that made it extremely annoying to download any movies/screenshots/info/etc.? You had to go through fileplanet and sign up for a bunch of bullshit just to get any info.
Wonderful plan they had there.
Should I be feeling bad for guys like this? Or make fun of them for being one developer in a million trying to get into this field?

This is Codemasters second attempt at a mmorpg.
You all remember Chessmaster 3000 I'm sure.. I think that's what it was called. Anywho..
Being it is there second attempt, I can't remember what the first attempt was. I was beta testing that, servers crashed after 200 people were online. The first one was cool or should have been. The environment had random weather patterns.. You could stand in a field and see the wind blow up clouds roll in and rain start to fall, and the weather was suppose to go from zone to zone, or actually there weren't suppose to be zones.
Anyway.. give them 3/10.. 3 for effort.
DE was their first try, i didnt even know they went for a second =/

I thought this game had a lot of promise for TSP. It had a ladder pvp system, virtually 0 PvE, and a king of the hill type PvP event every month pitting the 3 best guilds against eachother for the "Archlord" title. Sad to see it fall so short.
well just goes to show that marketing is important when making a game.

The PvE is a total grind. Weak quests, fetch and kill styled junk. You could just camp a relatively decent spawn and sit there all day.
The combat itself is lowest common demoninator click and point, and after DDO I'm not sure I can stomach any more dumbed down combat systems.
Nice thing is it is free now, so I don't have to waste any time canceling before the 30 grace period is over.
