Queue to get into WoW

I dont know how many of you are logged in right now... if your alt-tabbed out to look at boards, DONT LEAVE. I logged out to bring the wife lunch... gone for a hour... come back to a 1 hour wait time to log in. oh wait... 45 minutes now... sigh. Called some friends around the states who are going into central time zone. It just so happens that archimonde is the most populated server lol... :banghead: my luck haha. Oh well seem like a good mix if people though so far everyone alliance side around teldrassil already working together as if the game has been out for months. Seems as though all the Beta people are coming to this server. Wo0t.... more horde to kill ..aarrggghhhh.

oh well... see you in battle.

Oh and to add insult to injury... i get to position number 106 and got disconnected from server. now im number 1001......

It took me over two hours to get from 1102 to the char select screen.

It is stuck at "retrieving character list" for me now. It never gave me a number in que. So, does this mean I am waiting in line to get in line ? If I change realms to another server I can get in right away.

I'd try reconnecting to be honest. If you were in line it'd display a queue screen.

It just popped up my character list, no que. I guess 9 am CST is the "sweet spot", so much for prime time. It is taking forever to load me into game though. Wonder what the lag will be like once I'm in =/.

except for one lag spike last night, I never really had any problems in that regard. Just the 2 hour wait to play though :/

In the lag spikes I found I can still do delivery quests and get new quests, just not kill mobs.

D'oh, it disconnected me before it ever loaded world and now Archimonde is not on the list of available servers.
