Also on a side note, apparently Sierra cut a deal with the CPL and WiC is going to be the team based pro competition game for the 2007 CPL world tour. F E A R, another Sierra game, will be the 1v1 on the xbox 360.

I just looked into it more and realized that its really an RTS, the website doesn't really tell you much.

World in Conflict introduces the idea of "classes" to RTS gaming. In a typical multiplayer game, combatants will have to take on a specific role guiding troops of armor, infantry, aircraft, or support. You'll have to select one of the specialties which will open up a selection of units available for use in each of those categories.

So I've been playing most of the afternoon, and I have to say that I freakin' love this game. It's also perfect for a clan...so I set up a clan for us so hopefully we can get enough people playing to get some clan play going. I really couldn't recommend the game enough.

Been playing alot of FPS games lately that I got for Christmas (I don't usually play non-MMO type games, but I was bored and figured since I had them just sitting there...). Finished Half-Life 2, HL2 Episode 1, Ironstorm, FarCry and F.E.A.R. Currently playing Splinter Cell.

Ironstorm by far, was the toughest of those games. I swear I rarely had more then 20% health and I played it on "easy". F.E.A.R was the easiest.

I'm having trouble making an account. I've gone through the creation process multiple times using various email addresses and it always still says the account doesn't exist. I tried using the password recovery from the massgate site and it says the same.

/edit - Now when I try to create a new one with one of the email addies I tried, it says there's already an account with that email. But the password recovery still says there isn't.

I just finished playing a couple games.

My favorite division is currently the armor. The only thing I dislike about it is the utter inability to counter air targets. If I'm left without AA support, I might as well just throw my units away.

A good armor player coupled with a good support player running AA/repair tanks is pretty unstopable. I'll play support when I get this thing downloaded, been having power outages that prevented me from getting it until now.

I tried it... I'll probably get the game just to play the campaign the mission in the demo was pretty awesome and all the artillery strikes and air strikes and cannon fire brings a nice smile to my face :)

Definitely after Labor Day weekend. The leaderboards are supposed to reset after release, but it'd be good to get some practice in.

Just played the demo for a bit and I'm definitely buying this one so shoot me a message if people are playing online. With good teamwork we would own most games.

Also, for those who never played Company of Heroes it is also great and there is a stand-alone expansion coming in September with a game-of-the-year edition probably coming soon after so you may want to wait for that if you're thinking of buying it.

Command and Conquer 3 is also good in that it is very simple and easy to pickup and play which makes it very popular with all of my friends who like to game but don't have much time to devote to it.

It's the actual demo out now(beta is over). The game is about to release and is free to play beyond the cost of the game itself.
