Ryan Walker loved this rig - his older brother's honkin' big Ford F350 diesel pickup truck, 400 horsepower with 37-inch tires on 32-inch rims.
Whenever he wrote home from the war, he asked Steven: "How's my truck running?"
"He would have bought it from me, or he would have bought himself one just as big," Steven Walker said.
Except that Ryan Walker never came home from the war. Three days before he was due to return from Iraq, an improvised explosive device killed him. A medic with the 1st battalion, 76th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Walker died while rushing to save another soldier.
