Scin, if you need help getting those units powered up, let me know. I'm an EE in a consulting firm doing stuff like that. I primarily work on Verizon facilities in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Marking up drawings for 3 or 4 sites today.

Here's a good one. Im sitting here staying late (its 6:20 pm) waiting for a door repairman to come out and fix our receiving door in our warehouse. We have been sooo busy that the shipper/warehouse guy didn't have time to dig out this pallet of product so I got to do it. I had to pull about 15 pallets of product out of the warehouse and stack them outside and finally found the right pallet and then I was backing up out of the warehouse and WHAM I still had the forks up high and I backed into our receiving door so its all bent out and stuck open. Lovely huh. This is why the office manager shouldn't drive the forklift!!!!

Trying to un-numb by butt from a 4 hour ride in a Blackhawk. Taut canvas seats with a perfectly straight back are no good on my skinny behind, especially when loaded down with body armor.

I realized something during the flight. It was a night flight and as we were coming in to land at one of the bases I noticed a very strange phenomena out the window. Floating off the starboard bow about 200 yards away was a strange series of phosphoresent lights sort of in a triangular pattern. I was like "wtf is THAT?!?!" as it shifted to the left and right in a very strange pattern of movement. It was clearly a UFO!! Having never seen a UFO, I elbowed the guy sitting next to me and we stared at it as it hovered nearby, waiting to blast us with its death ray or something.

The helicopter I was in started to turn towards it, and I was about to crap my pants when I realized we were going to chase it. Then we descended far enough down for the landing strip lights to illuminate the UFO and I saw that it was just our wingman Blackhawk.

I now see why people mistake common occurences for UFOs. I've been in helicopters many many times and never thought I would ever be fooled into mistaking one for a UFO, but I honestly thought the other Blackhawk was one. It looked totally alien, you couldn't see the helicopter itself, just the running lights. And without the silhouette of the helicopter, the lights certainly looked very alien.

I just had a borrower provide me with a fraudulent Employment Transfer letter from California to here in Nevada. The loan was declined by the Underwriter and he has to put all his furniture in storage (it was set to close tomorrow). Because he got greedy and committed fraud to get a better rate, he is now homeless.
