Getting closer to release. They emphasize pvp with territory control that matters. I'm waiting to see how the players effect the gameworld.

All of the concepts remind me of SB. But I always get a pessimistic feeling about these indie style games that focus on PvP. They usually wind up coming up short. Here's hoping though.

The game is releasing (not just beta). And it will be a single server for EU and NA. I think they don't expect very many players lol.

About Firefall; isn't Firefall a fps game? Kinda Global Agenda-ish? Earthrise is way more MMO, with targeting, and skills, and asset destruction etc.

Firefall is like a more MMO version of global agenda... has all the usual mmo junk except you need to actually aim your weapon and skills.

Releasing February 4th I believe. I'm hoping they have an open beta, but I just get the feeling that this is another poor-indie-release-before-it's-ready game.

Was reading the Earthrise forums and there's just so little info available about the game that I'll be amazed if it's any good. Having an NDA still active less than a month from your release is a very bad thing imo.
