..to express our thanks and appreciation for those in harm's way. For those who unselfishly wear the uniform of their country, and find themselves far away from friends, family and loved ones this holiday season.

We understand the great sacrifice and responsibility that wearing that uniform can be, and want those away from home this holiday season to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families.

I for one greatly appreciate the sentiment. It is absolutely amazing and inspiring how much support our troops get from the American public. We get tons of letters and care packages each day wishing us well, and there are a great many daily newspaper articles and editorials expressing how proud our citizens are of those of us in harm's way.

So from one humble representative of the US Armed Forces, thanks for all the support and kind thoughts!
