Too bad for him that RFID chips dont natively transmit data. They dont even have a power source.
Basically when hit in close proximity by a scanner, the scanner provides the jolt of power to trigger the emission of the data on the RFID chip. So if they "chip" everyone they arent going to be able to track people any better than using the current barcode scanning tech they have now really.
Bunk.
As for the kids with the RFID chips there is some benefits to it. Think of it like a high tech medic alert bracelet. One scan and doctors can pull up a complete medical history if you have a stroke, or some kind of illness, or unconcious, or a kid etc. Basically it will be able to talk for you in verbose if you are unable.
As for the North American Union, that has been bandied about for as long as the European union has. The US, Canada and Mexico would be failing their economies if they didnt even examine the possible benefits of an economic union.
And as for Rockafellers buddy, why would anyone reveal such dubious plots to a guy youve only known a while, and who happens to have done alot of fluff PR work in his business to promote people like Bette Midler, etc.
The wikipedia entry has him claiming to have helped launch the careers of Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, etc. The reference for this claim is a google video which is a reporter interviewing him...
So much BS in this "documentary".

a) this is a huge tinfoil hat crapumentary
b) RFID has evolved a lot from the time when it was unnecessary to hold a scanner a few cm from a tag to get info: it now has a practical range of up to 600 feet in some cases (http://www.rfidradio.com/?p=25)
c) maybe i'm uneducated, but I don't see why a merging of the governments in north america would be so bad- provided it had proper checks and balances, along with a proper distribution of power and assurances of basic liberty. It would help a lot of people.

More government spread out = more money to steal.
What politician wouldn't want that?!?!

there are several types of RFID tags, Active and Passive.
Unlike passive RFID tags, active RFID tags have their own internal power source, which is used to power the integrated circuits and to broadcast the response signal to the reader. Communications from active tags to readers is typically much more reliable (i.e. fewer errors) than from passive tags due to the ability for active tags to conduct a "session" with a reader.
RFID tags are great for some things, but I definitely do not want people randomly acquiring my data using a rogue RFID scanner

They also already have circuits designed around using blood flow to power the chip so an active RFID chip implanted in a human could theoretically operate forever and actively report a wide range of information including your constant location through the use of GPS. Only limiting factor at this point is how to set up a network (think cell phone towers) that would get past the limited transmit distance of such a device.

Would a borderless North America leave an immigration lawyer unemployed?

Nope... because there are people who are born outside Canada, and Mexico who want to come to the United States, and who do not have a right to remain here if they violate the terms of their status.
They can also put this mind controlling stuff in your toothpaste. There is no such thing as fluoride. There's some food for thought - just don't brush after the meal.

Also, dont swim 45 min after you eat because the chlorine in the pool will trigger the chlorofluorocarbons in your happy meal.

Speaking of tinfoilers I came across this video of Huckabee pimping for the movie Expelled. Where ID folk claim that "Big Science" is oppressing the IDers.

Now watch as I bridge my previous statement to my next.
Also, regarding Silver's link in the OP, for some religious people, the idea of a "world government" is a precursor to Armageddon. Now how's that for tinfoil hat material?
