There's actually no accuracy difference between standing and crouch for anyone. iirc, all weapons have a (identical?) fixed number of seconds after last action before firing at max accuracy.
Those LMGs are OP though. They're all pretty good at spraying and praying at just about any range, which simply doesn't work with any other gun. I believe this is because all weapons have the same cone of maximum inaccuracy, and the substantially higher rate of fire of the LMGs simply yields a greater chance to land more shots on target within the same time frame. A lot of the stats don't add up, either. The AN-94 seems to require far more shots on target to kill than it should and seems significantly more inaccurate than it should, especially for the 2nd round in the burst. There is of course the matter of faulty hit detection which complicates all my observations... |

What he did do however, was turn around and shoot me with his pistol, killing me. I like BC2 a lot, but there are a ton of things in this game that just frustrate the shit out of me. Like being able to destroy objective points in rush matches with mortars. |

The problem with hardcore mode is that there are so many snipers
I still prefer it over normal mode, though. I always played MW on hardcore mode as well.

I don't like how you have to unlock and then "equip" extra damage mitigation (the armor thing) and weapon damage (the bullet velocity thing). Having to "equip" those at the expense of other sights and class boons is stupid imo. I've never liked games where you have to unlock things like that. Scopes, extra ammo, extra nades, class abilities, that's all good. But just increasing your guns damage to be able to kill someone more realistically? It's ridiculous.
